Another fun day in Florida awaits as we get out of bed for an early breakfast at my aunt and uncles house. We were headed to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium ( Home of Winter the tailless dolphin). For breakfast we had sweet German rolls. We had some extra time before we had to leave to go to the Aquarium so we played on the trampoline a bit and hung out with Robert ( their pet macaw).

We all got in the car and drove to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. When we got their we got our tickets and headed into a tent which talked about the filming of the movie Dolphin Tale, the story about how Winter lost her tail.

After we looked a bit at the first exhibit we headed inside. When we got inside we had to walk through the gift shop and then we watched a little documentary about how Winter lost her tail. Then we went to the ray touching tank. After that we took a look at the cubby holes where you could look out into the Dolphin tank. Sadly, they were cleaning it at the moment.

Then we headed over to another tank were they had many fish, two sharks, and a lot of coral and other ocean species. On our way to there we say the operation room and some touch tanks were you could touch some of the coral and some crabs.

After that we went upstairs to were you could see turtles, dolphins, and otters from above. We got to see some turtles that were injured from boat propellers and we got to see dolphins like Winter, Panama and Hope.

After we saw these animals we sat down for a show about the dolphin named Hope. She was the youngest dolphin and she was about 1 1/2 and she had no mother so they had to rescue her. There was also another dolphin named Panama. She was the oldest dolphin and was 25 years old and is deaf. Hope did many jumps and cool things that wowed the audience.

After we saw hope we went to see two more very interesting animals. We saw a turtle named Bailey ( A.K.A bubble butt). Bailey had air trapped in the back of his shell so his bottom could not go down under water very far at all. He had a very hard time swimming. Then we saw another Dolphin named Nickolas. Nickolas' mother had pneumonia so what she did is put her self in the very shallow waters right up near the beach and of course what any little kid would do, he followed his mother to the beach and got a two degree sunburn on his back. They rescued him and his mother but unfortunately his mother did not make it. So now they have him.
We Had a bunch of fun on the trampoline before dinner.
Speaking of Dinner Alexa helped her Aunt Kathy to create a German dish called rouladen.
